How To Get Your List The Maximum Amount Of Exposure

Every real estate agent has a list which has set on the market for entirely too long.  When this happens what might be required is that you will need to go back to the basics of listing a property on the market.  In fact it might take a little bit more time and money than other properties you have listed might.  You might find that a house that would have sold quickly several months ago is taking more time than you thought.  There is a list of action items that you can work through that will help your listing get the maximum amount of exposure possible and will help you to sell the home much quicker than before.  Read on to learn more.

By simply bringing in someone else to help you stage the home or add seasonal elements to the home you will find that your listing will have an entirely different look.  Often times another person will have a completely different outlook on things.  This can add a new element to your listing and get the home sold quicker.

Put Floor Plans With The Photos

When people are looking at photos it is often difficult to see how the home flows.  By simply adding copies of the floor plans to the listing photos people will be able to get the feel of the home and if this it is something that will work for their family.  If you are having any construction done on the home or if there has been any current remodeling done.

Neighborhood Photos

When people are looking at pictures of a home another nice touch that they like to see if pictures of the neighborhood.  If there is a park or a swimming pool you might want to add these pictures to the listing.  Potential buyers like to see what is located around the home they might be living in.

Hire A Professional

Many times the pictures that you are taking are not good enough.  If this is the case you should just be honest with yourself and hire a professional to get the job done.  Sometimes all it takes is a good camera and the right person to do the job.

Rewrite The Description Of The Property

Many times the description of the home is just not good enough.  If you think this is the case you should rewrite the description.  It is important for you to make the description catchy and able to attract attention from potential buyers.

 Craigslist

Craigslist can be a great way to advertise your property.  This should be done by listing your property on Craigslist every three days and using a different advertisement every time.  You would be shocked at how many people shop for homes on Craigslist.  This is especially common for those who are relocating to a different state or city.

 Have Regular Open Houses

As a real estate listing agent you should be having plenty of open houses on your properties.  When you do this you should email other agents and invite them to attend.  One way to get the agents to attend is to have a give away for those who show and sign in.  They will understand that you need to sell the house and they might be the perfect one to help you do just that.

Often times when listing a home an agent will think that using the most up to date technology to sell the home will work.  Many times it does not therefore it is important to go back to the basics and list the home as you would have many years ago.  The tips above are only a few of the basics there are of course many more available to you.
